something interesting for you guys to read...

nah..here it is....it's based on your position in the family...really accurate. In case you're wondering ...well i'm the last child in my family. *winks*

The First born

Advantages:
Firstborns are often leaders. Of the first 23 astronauts in space, 21 of them were first borns or only children. Half of America's presidents were oldest children. First borns tend to be conscientious and responsible, winning their parents' attention by being mature and their friend's allegiance by being assertive decision makers. They also get more privileges that come with being the oldest.

Disadvantages: First borns tend to be critical, especially of themselves. They feel a lot of pressure to be perfect and tend to be jealous of what they perceive to be their siblings' getting away with murder.

The Middle Child

Advantages
: Those sandwiched in the middle are often the family diplomats. They hate fighting and are good secret keepers. Because they're forced to share and get along with both older and younger siblings, they are usually easy-going and more accepting. Their negotiating abilities and compromising nature make them excellent lawyers, therapists, business managers, and extremely loyal friends.

Disadvantages: Because middles can feel left out of their family circle, they sometimes crave attention in screamingly obvious ways. They're the first to pierce or dye or tattoo.

The Baby

Advantages:
The youngest sibling is creative, sociable and innovative. All the advice handed down from older siblings makes the baby more proficient at a variety of activities than their friends. The most adventurous of family members, the last-born isn't afraid to be rebel, and often finds new arenas to shine in. They tend to go with the flow, having had a lot of practice at letting people take care them.

Disadvantages: Being the baby means getting used to being -babied. Last borns can rely on others too much. Their rooms are usually disasters. More than the others, the baby craves attention. None of their "firsts" shook the world so they tend to be less cautious and jump right in...for better or worse.

The Only Child

Advantages:
Only children tend to exhibit the same independence and leadership as the first-born. They spend a lot of quality, uninterrupted time with adults and grow up and mature much faster. They are high achieving and bring out the best in the people around them. And they have lots more "stuff" than their friends who have brothers and sisters.

Disadvantages: Because they grow up by themselves, only children are not good sharers. They tend to be a bit selfish and a tad bossy. And there are moments when one is a lonely number.
