As alot of you already know, a friend of mine recently passed away in a fatal bus accident. The bus was on the Penang to KL bus route and unfortunately, Nian Ning never reached her destination.
Recent investigations have shown that the bus driver allegedly had 13 summonses and was even speeding on the highway! How this was even allowed by the government, I'll never know. It's no wonder he lost control of his vehicle. Who is he kidding? It was a double decker bus! Bus drivers have become more notorious on the highway, speeding recklessly without taking into account the lives on the bus that they hold responsible for.
Honestly, do we ever feel completely safe and protected whenever we travel on these express buses?
Can you say that you have not worried even once while boarding these buses? Hoping fervently that you will arrive in your destination safe and sound?
One life lost is bad enough.
